Inland Chess Academy
Note: Provided through Inland Chess Academy, Grades 2-5

What: Professional chess coach Karl Milton provides lectures, videos, and exercises, then directs tournament
play. Students compete for club tournament awards. The chess club also competes against other clubs in regional tournaments held on Saturdays. Qualifying students are encouraged to enter the Washington State Chess Championship Tournament, April 24, 2027, Spokane, WA.

LEGO/CODING club (Gr. 2-3)

What: Build challenges will help students exercise their creativity, practice working with a partner or on a team, explore engineering thinking and develop perseverance.

What: Does running around the gym and playing with your friends after school sound like a great time? Join us for Play Club! After a short group activity and review of ground rules for safety and respect, students will spend the majority of the time engaged in self-directed play with their peers.
