Why We Fundraise
The Wilson PTG breathes life into our school community through time, energy, and funds. Events and Extracurriculars are planned, executed, and FULLY FUNDED by the PTG. These beloved activities and traditions simply would not happen without the dedication and funding from our PTG:
- Carnival
- Pizza in the Park
- Monster Mash
- Pancake Breakfast
- Free Extracurriculars for All
- Book Bingo
- STEM Night
- Art Night
- SO MUCH MORE!
Additionally, the PTG makes a meaningful difference in our school by funding:
- Field Trips
- Generous Teacher Grants for Classroom Supplies
- Library Books
Our Goal
Our goal is to raise $55,000
$55,000 would fully fund our PTG at our current spending levels for the next two years.
These funds ensure that extracurricular activities remain plentiful, diverse, and FREE for all students to participate. They support student enrichment like Field Trips, STEM Fairs, and all the crucial programming listed above. *Please note that up to 5% of the money raised may be invested in other non-profits that directly impact Wilson students such as Active4Youth, Levy Campains, LC Zone Community Building Events, etc.
How We Fundraise
The Wilson PTG skips traditional product sales and instead focuses on a one-time direct donation drive to maximize your contribution.
- More impact, less overhead: Your donation goes directly to the PTG, with no administrative costs or product expenses.
- No unnecessary purchases: Contribute what you can, without the pressure of buying products you don't need.
Culminating Event: The Wildcat Walk
- When and where: Friday, September 26th, at Cannon Hill Park.
- What to expect: A celebration with music, mascots, and treats.
- Student prize: Every student will receive a new Wilson t-shirt.

Incentives
- The highest grossing classes will earn pizza parties
- The highest earner from each grade level will get to Silly String Mr. Syron during an all-school assembly
- The first teacher to have 100% class participation will be awarded an additional $100 Classroom Supply Grant
- The top 3 earners overall will get to give a pie in the face to Mr. Syron, Ms. Campbell, and Ms. Park during an all-school assembly
- If we reach our fundraising goal by September 25, every student will receive a Kona Ice during the Wildcat Walk on Sept. 26

- Corporate Sponsorship is a vital part of our funding. We offer several sponsorship levels and offer business advertisement as an expression of our gratitude.

- Corporate Sponsorships and Employee Matches will be attributed to the student who solicits them and counted toward individual and class competitions
